Biographie

Biography

Anna Muller is a Russian photographer and collage artist based in Paris, born in 1981 in Izhevsk. She began shooting in 2008 and graduated from the International Academy of Photographic Arts (Moscow). In 2013, she received an European Master of Photography degree at the Spéos Paris Photographic Institute.
Anna Muller also spent five years living and working in Tokyo, Japan. The rich traditions of Japanese culture played a major part in the development of her self-discipline, attention to detail and responsiveness.
Her greatest inspiration is colour. She sees, hears and feels everything through colour. It is her poetry, her music, and her passion.
As an artist, she looks for different ways to express her ideas. Anna Muller discovered that collage art and photography allow her to step beyond the actual form in visualising her sense of humour and self-irony.
